Position: Research Director – Quantitative Insights, CPG, Consumer Health
Location: New York, NY (or remote)
buzzback is seeking a Research Director in the CPG and Consumer Health space to help with client management, growth and vertical expansion. This position is involved in the entire research process at buzzback from proposal to report and share-out.
In this role, you need to be a creative thinker/problem solver and have a passion for delivering outstanding insights as part of our quantitative research team. In particular, you should be:

Responsibilities include:
- • Proposing methodologies based on the client’s needs and research objectives; communicating recommended approaches during scoping calls with the client and drafting proposals
- • Managing client relationships, including all client communication related to the project, with a particular focus on translating research findings into business decisions.
- • Managing analysts throughout the process and interacting with operations and programming teams.
- • Crafting the ”story” based on the data and delivering that both verbally and visually.
- • Interacting with senior members from the client team and acting a liaison between us and the various client stakeholders.
- • Being involved in the development and optimization of our proprietary techniques and methodologies.
Qualifications – Successful candidates possess:
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MA/MBA and/or professional training a plus
- • 10+ years of professional experience in market research agencies
- • Familiarity and comfort with various methodologies in the innovation space
- • Strong attention to detail, comfort in fast-paced environment, and a team player attitude
- • Positive, can-do attitude
- • Flexibility to adapt to changing business conditions, objectives and tactics
- • Willingness to roll-up-sleeves and do what it takes to reach goal with solid work ethic
- • Orientation to self-start and tremendous personal motivation
- • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail
- • Aptitude to learn new skills, tools, techniques and applying them to different circumstances
- • Skill with common Internet tools and capabilities and Microsoft Office applications
